One of my concerns is that professional video cameras will be rather daunting and obtrusive. Won’t that be the case?

The last thing we want to do is get in the way or make anyone feel uncomfortable. We try to adopt a ‘fly on the wall’ approach, and keep in the background as much as that is possible. We are observing the day.

Who sets the standards you maintain?

The I.O.V. (the Institute of Videography) Our M.D. was made a Master Member of the I.O.V. in 1998. The I.O.V. is the industry's leading organisation and periodically asseses its members work. If you want to know more, visit their web site at www.iov.co.uk

Why should we need a video of the wedding as well as the official photographs?

The official photographs are essential of course – but when you have looked at the photographs of your grandparents, and parents wedding, wouldn’t you also have loved to see a video of their day? Seen all the colour and excitement, seen the rings exchanged, heard and seen the speeches? Of course you would! Your wedding day is one of the most significant days of your life – make sure as much of it as possible is captured with both the formal photographs and a professional video.

Will the wedding day film be the same quality shown on your wedding show reel, and will the same people be filming it on the day and editing it?

Yes. Definately. We use the same camera's, mikes, and editing equipment to produce our 'Show Reel' as we use to produce our wedding day films. We do not 'farm out' our wedding business. It is all filmed by us and edited inour own studio here in Sussex. This is the only way, we believe, we can keep control and maintain our high standards.
